Want to experience the famous Preikestolen and Lysefjord, but not join the crowds? Get ready to get off the beaten track. We will hike on a to the crowds unknown trail, providing you with a different experience and the best views on this majestic rock formation and the 42 kilometre long Lysefjord 604 meter below us.

The views are just getting better when we continue our way over a mountain plateau, from where we can see both the east and west end of the fjord. We descent all the way down through wooded hillsides and along forest creeks to the fjord.

This hike is relatively demanding and requires a good basic level of fitness. You will never forget the views of this hike.
Alteratively, we recommend to follow the pathway to the Pulpit Rock Plateau, a much more easy hike and not som demanding for your body. The view on the plateau is the same!

The Pulpit Rock Hike is a full day activity, 5-7 hours.
